Description

The report of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control - Search and Rescue of Bac Kan province said that due to the influence of the low pressure trench through the Northern mountainous region, combined with the convergence of winds, from the afternoon of July 4 to the morning. On July 5, 2022, there was light rain in the province, accompanied by tornadoes, in which Pac Nam district suffered the heaviest damage. A tornado around 6pm on July 4 caused more than 20 houses in two villages of Na Mu and Na Mon (An Thang commune) Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province to have their roofs blown off and damaged. The tornado also caused one minor injury, Mr. Hau Van Dau, born in 1988, Khuoi Xom village, An Thang commune, was hit by a tree. In addition, in Pac Nam district, heavy rain also damaged 01 hectare of maize and 03 hectares of acacia, causing roof damage of 02 schools in this locality. Immediately after understanding the situation, the affected local government directed people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters according to the motto "Four on the spot", proactively overcome the consequences of natural disasters, inspect and direct the list, fix damages to update and report according to regulations.
