According to a quick report from Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong provinces, from the evening of September 5 to the morning of September 6, heavy rain, flooding, and landslides caused the following damage:
- Regarding people: 01 person died due to being swept away by water while crossing Ta La Ngau river (Mr. Phan Dinh Sinh, born in 1972, residing in Lac Hoa 2 village, Tanh Linh commune, Lam Dong province);
- Regarding housing: 06 houses were damaged (Lam Dong); 16 houses were flooded (Gia Lai 01, Lam Dong 15);
- Regarding agriculture: 1,072 hectares of rice and crops were flooded and damaged (Gia Lai 05 hectares, Lam Dong 1,067 hectares);
- Regarding livestock: 31 cattle died or were swept away (Gia Lai 02, Dak Lak 29);
- Regarding traffic: 01 landslide location on National Highway 14C in Gia Lai province with a volume of 200m3 of soil and rock; 11 locations of intra-provincial roads were landslide (Gia Lai 03; Dak Lak 03, Lam Dong 04); 05 locations were flooded from 1.2-1.5m in Gia Lai (currently the water is receding, 02/05 locations are no longer flooded).
