1) Chiang Mai Province:On 4 October 2026, a windstorm occurred in Ban Chan Subdistrict, Galyani Vadhana District, damaging 2 houses. In Ban Aen Subdistrict, Doi Tao District, houses were also damaged, and a large tree fell across Road 1103 (Hot–Doi Tao). No injuries or fatalities were reported.The Chiang Mai Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office (DDPM), Chiang Mai DDPM Hot Branch Office, district authorities, Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), police officers, local administrative organisations, civil volunteers, civil defence volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and other relevant agencies have provided assistance.2) Lampang Province:On 4 October 2026, a windstorm occurred in Ban Rong Subdistrict, Ngao District, causing electricity poles to collapse and resulting in a power outage. A total of 89 houses were affected. No injuries or fatalities were reported.The Lampang Provincial DDPM, district authorities, PEA, police officers, local administrative organisations, civil volunteers, civil defence volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and other relevant agencies have provided assistance. Officials from the Provincial Electricity Authority, Wang Nuea Branch, are carrying out repairs and are expected to restore electricity to residents within 1–2 days.

3 OctAccording to a quick report from the Lam Dong Provincial Civil Defense Command, heavy rain from October 2nd to 3rd damaged one house, flooded three houses (three households have been evacuated); flooded 243.6 hectares of rice and 73 hectares of other crops; and caused landslides in five locations.Local authorities have mobilized on-site forces to assist residents in relocating to safe areas; cleared waterways in flooded areas; erected warning signs and barriers; deployed personnel to be on standby in landslide-prone areas; and continued to compile and assess the damage.***1 Oct- Ho Chi Minh City: Heavy rain on the evening of September 30th - October 1st, 2026 caused widespread flooding in several wards such as Hanh Thong, Go Vap, and Tan My, affecting and disrupting traffic and daily life for residents. By the night of October 1st, 2026, the rain had stopped, the water had receded, and most areas were no longer flooded.- Dong Nai City: According to information from the city's disaster prevention and control duty officer, heavy rain on the night of September 29, 2026, in Long Thanh ward caused localized flooding in 70 houses in Loc An and Phuoc Thuan neighborhoods (from 0.5-1.2m); flooding and landslides affected 2.4km of local roads (Road 769, Cau Xe Road), impacting people's travel. By 6:00 PM on September 30, 2026, the water had receded, and the flooded areas were basically free of flooding.- An Giang Province: According to a quick report from the province, rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds on the night of September 30, 2026, in Tan Hiep and Hoa Hung communes caused damage to 48 houses, with roofs blown off; there were no casualties.- Can Tho City: According to a quick report from the city, from the night of September 30th to October 1st, 2026, rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds occurred in several communes/wards (Thanh Quoi, Vinh Thanh, Thanh An, Thanh Phu, Truong Xuan and Truong Thanh), causing damage and roof damage to 235 houses.Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, local authorities in provinces and cities mobilized on-site forces to assist people in moving their property to safe places; for areas affected by flooding and landslides, they organized the staking out of areas, posted warning signs, and rerouted traffic at those points.***29 SepAccording to a report from the Ca Mau Provincial Irrigation Department, on the afternoon of September 28, 2026, a storm and whirlwind occurred in Nguyen Phich commune, Ca Mau province, causing damage to 11 houses, with roofs blown off. Immediately after the natural disaster, the local authorities organized an inspection, compiled a list of damages, and mobilized forces to assist people in overcoming the consequences and stabilizing their lives as soon as possible.
