Description
As being reported by the local Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), a landslide has killed 1 children in Tapian Nauli village, district of Central Tapanuli. The victim was unable to escape when the rock and soil materials from the hill fallen upon his home. The heavy rain was reportedly triggered the incident. Not only triggered landslide, the heavy rain also caused flood in subdistrict of Barus, Tapian Nauli and Tukka. The BPBD together with the local agencies worked together to handle the situation.
