➢ Chronology: Triggered by heavy rain accompanied by strong winds that caused a tornado (whirlwind) in several districts of Deli Serdang Regency, resulting in damage to residents' homes on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at approximately 23:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time) ➢ Location: (4 Districts / 8 Villages) ● Pantai Labu District - Durian Village - Perkebunan Ramunia Village ● Batang Kuis District - Paya Gambar Village - Masjid Village - Baru Village - Sidodadi Village ● Beringin District - Serdang Village ● Percut Sei Tuan District - Tanjung Rejo Village ➢ Casualties/Impacted Persons: ● ±43 households / 170 individuals affected ● ±3 individuals displaced, with details: Pantai Labu District - Durian Village: 7 households / 23 individuals affected - Perkebunan Ramunia Village: 1 household / 5 individuals affected Batang Kuis District - Paya Gambar Village: 15 households / 71 individuals affected - Masjid Village: 5 households / 20 individuals affected - Baru Village: 1 household / 4 individuals affected - Sidodadi Village: 1 household / 4 individuals affected Beringin District - Serdang Village: 11 households / 36 individuals affected

Percut Sei Tuan District - Tanjung Rejo Village: 1 RS house, 1 RR house ➢ Efforts: ● Deli Serdang Regency BPBD coordinated with local village and district authorities and conducted an assessment at the scene ● Deli Serdang Regency BPBD provided emergency response aid (tarpaulins, blankets, mattresses, toiletries) and basic food supplies to Baru and Sidodadi Villages ➢ Parties involved: ● Deli Serdang Regency BPBD ● Relevant village officials ● District governments of Pantai Labu, Batang Kuis, Beringin, and Percut Sei Tuan ● Social Affairs Agency ● Bhabinkamtibmas (Community Police Officer) ● Local residents ➢ Current Status: Thursday, August 13, 2026 ● Affected residents remain in their respective homes. Debris from the tornado was cleared by homeowners immediately after the incident. ● Some affected residents have already repaired their homes. ● Residents whose homes sustained heavy damage are currently sheltering at the homes of neighbors or relatives ● Plans are in place to distribute additional basic food aid on August 14, 2026.
