➢ Chronology: On Tuesday, 8 September 2026, at approximately 02:00 WIB (UTC+7), the Gambus River, which originates in Simalungun Regency, overflowed. The Dalu-Dalu River was also dammed due to ongoing Dalu-Dalu Dam construction works by the River Basin Management Agency (BBWS) of North Sumatra Province, causing the Dalu-Dalu River to overflow into the Gambus River.
