Description
In North Sumatera, flood has reportedly submerged hundreds of homes in sub-district of Sei Rampah, Parbauangan and Bandan. The land conversion, illegal logging activity and rain intensity were suspected to trigger the event. Because of the incident, around 1842 people were displaced. Responding to the situation, the Serdang Begadai Disaster Management Agency together with the local agencies have conducted many activity in order to help the victim, such as establishing post command, building shelters, distributing relief items, providing water treatment facility, assessing the damages and others.
