Description
Heavy rain caused flooding in Barus District, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province, Tuesday (15/4). A total of 590 houses were affected by the flood with a water level of 1 meter. The Central Tapanuli Regency BPBD reported that the flood was still inundating residents' settlements as high as 15 centimeters. The Central Tapanuli BPBD deployed rubber boats to mobilize affected residents and appealed to local residents to secure valuables, turn off electronic equipment and supervise children's activities.
