According to initial reports from the provinces/cities of Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Lam Dong, and Dong Nai, the impact of the tropical depression and heavy rain from September 9-12 caused flooding and damage as follows (data as of 7:00 AM on September 13, 2026) :

- Quang Tri Province:

+ Flooded/Relocated Houses: 59 houses were flooded; 129 households were relocated to safe areas in Lao Bao commune.

+ Transportation: Ten points on roads, bridges, and culverts are flooded, causing localized disruptions in the communes of La Lay, A Doi, Dakrong, Truong Son, and Truong Ninh (water depth from 0.3-0.7m), making it impossible for people and vehicles to pass. Local authorities have mobilized forces, posted warning signs, and prohibited people and vehicles from moving through these areas.

Several roads (4 points) in 4 communes (Tra Linh, Tra Van, Son Cam Ha, and Que Phuoc) experienced minor landslides, not affecting traffic or travel. Local authorities have deployed forces to monitor and mitigate the consequences.

- Hue City:

+ 01 house affected by landslide; 01 fishing boat sunk by large waves while anchored in Thuan An fishing port area (no casualties).

+ Two landslides occurred on the embankment of National Highway 49 (at Km 67+800 and Km 75+830), with a total volume of approximately 150m3 of soil and rocks; local forces have erected warning signs and carried out initial repairs to ensure traffic flow.

- Quang Ngai Province: 63.2 hectares of rice and crops were flooded and damaged. Provincial road DT.623B, the section passing through Thach Nam culvert, was flooded 0.5m at 6:00 AM on September 12th.
