Description
According to the report of Binh Thuan Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control dated 10/4/2018, landslide event occured due to the influence of northeast monsoon in combination with high tides, Hoa Phu-Hoa Thang, located in Tan Phu hamlet, Hoa Phu commune, Tuy Phong district. As a result road section 4 of around 1,000 meters was totally cut off. It also caused collapse of the medium-voltage electric pylons, damage to the coastal optical cable lines. People of Hoa Phu district was significantly effaced due to lost of access. The provincial People‘ Committee has direct functional departments to inspect and survey the current situation of landslide in affected areas.
