Description
According to a quick report from the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Vinh Long province, at 6:30 p.m. on October 5, 2024, heavy rain combined with high tides caused a landslide of a section of the embankment combined with rural traffic in Phu My 1 hamlet, Dong Phu commune, Long Ho district, with a length of about 4m, causing flooding, affecting 12 hectares of garden land and fruit trees of 40 households. After the incident, the locality mobilized forces, materials, and on-site vehicles to repair and ensure traffic for people.
