The Tropical Storm (TS) JEBI has finally made landfall in northeastern of Viet Nam on Saturday, 3 August. Eventhough, it has been weakened, it could still trigger landslide, wind and flooding due its rain intensity. Several areas that have been affected based on the CCFSC‘ report are Quang Ninh Province, Hai Phong city, Bac Giang Province, Bac Ninh Province and Lang Son Province. IMPACT - 3 injured - about 438 houses were damaged - 2,274 ha of agriculture area damaged - several communication towers were damaged RESPONSE - Local governments provided assistance to the affected communities.
