Heavy storm swept several areas in Nakhon Phanom, Lampang, Phrae, Buriram, Sisaket and Nakhon Ratchasima Province damaging hundreds of houses and properties. As an addition, storm also hit Ayutthaya on 26 April causing damages on the building and trees. IMPACT - at least 2,000 families have been affected - at least 1,851 houses were damaged, where 1,600 were in Buriram RESPONSE - The government has conducted preventive measures and provided assistance to the communities, such as issuing the weather advisory and distributing house material.
