There is a situation in 3 provinces, 7 districts, 23 sub-districts, 123 villages, affecting 3,462 households as follows:
1) Nan Province
On 21 May, heavy rain continuously caused flooding and flash floods in 3 districts, 5 sub-districts, and 10 villages as follows: Yot Sub-district (Villages 2, 3, 4, 5), Song Kwae District, Pue Sub-district (Village 15), Chiang Klang Sub-district (Villages 1, 9), Phaya Kaew Sub-district (Village 9), Chiang Klang District, Phu Fa Sub-district (Villages 2, 4), Bo Kluea District. Initially, 10 households were affected. The flooded roads made it impossible to enter or exit the village. No injuries or deaths. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Chiang Rai Region 15, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, the local military units, the district, police officers, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and related agencies went to survey the damage, provide assistance, and quickly drain water from the area. The situation has now improved.
2) Uttaradit Province
On 21 May at 2:00 a.m., heavy rain caused flooding in 1 district, 1 sub-district, and 1 m. of the following areas: Mae Pool Sub-district, Laplae District. Initially, there was flooding on the road surface on the Laplae-Mae Pool Waterfall Highway. They are currently surveying the damage. No injuries or deaths were reported. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Phitsanulok Region 9, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, the district, police officers, local government organizations, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and related agencies went to survey the damage and provide assistance to quickly drain water from the area. The situation has now improved.
3) Suphan Buri Province
On 16-19 May, heavy rain continued to cause canal embankments to break, causing flooding in areas of 3 A.17 T.112 M. as follows: Song Phi Nong District (11 T.83 M.), Bang Pla Ma District (2 T.8 M.), Mueang District (4 T.21 M.). Initially, the flooding affected agricultural areas, affecting 3,452 households, 34,766 rai of rice fields, 10 fish ponds, and 3 shrimp ponds. No one was injured or killed. Mr. Klawach Traphonsuk, Deputy Governor of Suphan Buri Province, inspected the situation. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Region 2, Suphan Buri, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, military units in the district, police officers, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and relevant agencies surveyed the damage, provided assistance in repairing the broken canal embankments, and expedited the drainage of water from the area. The situation has now improved.
