Flooding and landslide incident occurred Mueang, Takuapa, Thai Mueang and Kapong district in Phang-Nga Province due to continuous heavy downpours influenced by the Southwest Monsoon. In some locations, the water level reached up to 2 meters that forced the residents to evacuate and move their belonging the higher ground. This situation caused hardship for the local. In Thai Mueang district, a landslide has caused 1 death and damaged number of homes.
