Final Update from Philippines Government (NDRRMC and DSWD) Tropical Storm Kai-Tak (Urduja) has exited Philippines Area of Responsibility on 19 Decem ber 2017. In total 425,996 families or 1,780,163 persons are affected in 2,471 barangays in 2,471 barangays of Regions V, VI, VII, VIII, MIMAROPA and CARAGA. A total of 668 families or 2,763 persons are currently staying inside 28 evacuation centers in Regions V, VIII, and MIMAROPA. In addition, A total of 142 families or 710 persons are currently staying with families / friends in Regions VII and VIII. TS Kai-Tak caused 3,062 houses were totally damaged and 16,585 were partially damaged in Regions V, VIII and Caraga. DSWD reported ₱103,346,951.99 worth of assistance has been provided to affected families and individuals; of which, ₱85,659,906.00 came from DSWD, ₱17,661,614.99 from LGUs, and ₱25,431.00 from NGO. = As of 19 December 2017= TS Kai-tak (Urduja) has left the Philippines Area of Responsibility. Most damage are observed in Eastern Visayas with 41 people were killed and 45 others remain missing. = As of 18 December 2017 = It has been reported that 31 dead and 49 are still missing due to Tropical Storm Kai-Tak (Urduja). The NDRRMC, citing data from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), also said 44,369 families fled to 608 evacuation centers in Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Mimaropa, and Caraga. Around 2,900 passengers also remain stranded on Monday, most of them at the Manila North Harbor. This is down from a high of more than 16,000 stranded passengers in various regions over the weekend. Tropical Stork Kai-Tak is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday, December 19, after making landfall in the country 6 times. = As of 17 December 2017 = 3 dead, 19 persons were injured with 20 incidents (landslides/erosion, flooding). 261 areas were flooded. 39 cities/municipalities experienced power outage. 18 houses were partially damaged. USD705722 losses were incurred to national roads. 19 road sections and 2 bridges were affected. = As of 15 December 2017 = 3 houses were damaged, 3 families (9 persons) were displaced and flooding occurred in 2 provinces with about 130 households affected. Classes and work were suspended across 8 provinces = As of 14 December 2017= 3 houses were damaged, 3 families (9 persons) were displaced and flooding occurred in 2 provinces with about 100 households affected
