									On 04 November 2024, 2:00 AM, the Tropical Depression intensified into a Tropical Storm as it entered the Philippine      
Area of Responsibility (PAR) and was assigned the domestic name MARCE. At 11:00 AM, MARCE slightly intensified as      
it moves West Northwestward over the Philippine Sea. At 5:00 PM, MARCE further intensified over the Philippine Sea      
east of Bicol Region. By 11:00 PM, MARCE intensified into Severe Tropical Storm as it undergoes rapid intensification.      
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was hoisted in Batanes, the northern and eastern portions of Cagayan including      
Babuyan Islands, the eastern portion of Isabela, the northern portion of Apayao, and the northern portion of Ilocos Norte.      
On 05 November 2024, 5:00 AM, MARCE slightly intensified and was nearing Typhoon category. By 11:00 AM, MARCE      
intensified into a Typhoon. At 5:00 PM, MARCE slightly intensified over the Philippine Sea East of Isabela. At 11:00 PM,      
MARCE further intensified as it moves West Northwestward over the Philippine Sea. Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2      
was hoisted over the northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan.      
On 06 November 2024, 5:00 AM, MARCE maintained its strength as it moves Northwestward over the Philippine Sea. At      
8:00 AM, MARCE decelerated over the Philippine Sea East of Northern Luzon. At 11:00 AM, Typhoon MARCE      
threatened Babuyan Islands and Northern Mainland Luzon as it further intensifies. Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3      
was raised over the northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan. At 11:00 PM, MARCE further intensified as it moves West      
Northwestward toward the Northern Mainland Cagayan-Babuyan Islands area. At 5:00 PM, MARCE is started to become      
almost stationary over the waters East of Northern Cagayan. At 8:00 PM, MARCE continued to threaten the Northern      
Mainland Cagayan-Babuyan Islands area. At 11:00 PM, MARCE further intensified as it moves West Northwestward      
toward the Northern Mainland Cagayan-Babuyan Islands area.      
On 07 November 2024, 2:00 AM, MARCE maintained its strength as it accelerates toward the Northern Mainland      
Cagayan-Babuyan Islands area. At 5:00 AM, MARCE continued to threaten the Northern Mainland Cagayan-Babuyan      
Islands area. Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 4 was hoisted over Cagayan, Babuyan Islands, and Apayao. At 11:00      
AM, MARCE continued to intensify and was dangerously approaching Northeastern Cagayan. At 2:00 PM, MARCE was      
about to make landfall in Santa Ana, Cagayan and was near Super Typhoon strength.      
At 3:40 PM, the center of the eye of Typhoon MARCE made landfall in the vicinity of Santa Ana, Cagayan as it nears      
Super Typhoon strength. Life-threatening conditions persisted over northeastern Cagayan. At 8:00 PM, life-threatening      
conditions continued over the northern portions of Cagayan, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte as MARCE moves over the      
Babuyan Channel.      
At 9:00 PM, the center of the eye of Typhoon MARCE made its second landfall in the vicinity of Sanchez-Mira, Cagayan.      
Life-threatening conditions continued over the northern portions of Cagayan, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte.      
On 08 November 2024, 2:00 AM, life-threatening conditions persist over the northern portions of Cagayan, Apayao, and      
Ilocos Norte as MARCE moves generally Westward over Ilocos Norte. At 5:00 AM, MARCE continues to weaken and is      
now over the sea West of Ilocos Norte. By 4:00 PM, “MARCE” exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR),      
resulting in the lifting of all Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals.
