TS LAWIN has caused NDRRMC-OPCEN into "Red alert" status as of 21 September 2012. Due to effect of this TS, the city of Zamboanga has been declared under the State of Calamity on 24 September 2012. Based on NDRRMC Sitrep no.17 on 1 October 2012: 3 deaths 1 missing 3,134 families or 7,921 persons are affected 43 barangays in Regions IV-B and IX are affected 77 houses are totally damaged 155 houses are partially damaged Incidents occur to include: - Landslide in Sirawai Zamboanga del Norte - Flood in Quezon Palawan, Zamboanga city, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Zamboanga del Norte - Strong Wind in Zamboanga city
