Description

Flooding and Landslide occurred in Region I, III, IV-A, IV-B, CAR and NCR. Based on the NDRRMC report, these incidents were the effect of Southwest Monsoon enhanced by Tropical Storm TRAMI ("Maring"). IMPACT - 677,127 families/ 3,050,250 people were affected in Regions I, III, IV-A, IV-B, CAR and NCR. - 27 death, 30 injured and 4 missing - 8,739 families/35,400 persons served inside 201 Evacuation Centers. - 1,533 houses were damaged - Total of 8 roads in Regions I, III, and CAR are still impassable. - 4 power interruption were reported in Regions IV-B - Total of 200 areas in 22 municipalities/cities under Regions I, III, IV-A, IV-B and NCR were reported flooded RESPONSE - Local authority provided assistance - NDRRMOC has been upgraded into an Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) under RED ALERT STATUS since 19 August 2013 - 6,535 personnel, 381 vehicles, 176 seacrafts and 2,608 other assets/equipment has been deployed by Government of Philippines to manage this situation. - Cost of damage: 14.3 million USD - Cost of assistance: 1.7 million USD
