Indonesia, Dukuno Vulcano Activity

➢ Chronology:

● An eruption/activity of Mt. Dukono, which remains at Alert Level II (WASPADA), occurred on Friday, 8 May 2026, at 07:41 WIT. Visually observed eruption activity and seismicity have shown an increase again since 29 March 2026, with an average of 95 eruption events recorded.

● The observed eruption column was white, grey, to black in color with thick intensity and reached an approximate height of 10,000 meters, accompanied by weak to strong booming sounds. The activity was recorded on the seismograph with a maximum amplitude of 34 mm and a duration of 967.56 seconds.

● Approximately 17 people have been evacuated, several of whom sustained injuries,



● Three people are still missing/search ongoing,
