According to a quick report from the Office of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Kien Giang province, on October 10, 2024, in Giong Rieng district, a tornado occurred, injuring 12 people, collapsing 23 houses, and damaging 44 houses and blowing off their roofs.
