Thailand, Strong Winds in Phetchabun and Lamphun

1. Disaster Situation
Windstorm (2 provinces, 4 districts, 6 subdistricts, 14 villages; a total of 122 houses were damaged)
1) Phetchabun Province, March 12, 2026: A windstorm occurred in 2 districts, 3 subdistricts, and 5 villages, namely Yang Ngam and Tha Daeng subdistricts in Nong Phai district, and Takut Rai subdistrict in Chon Daen district. Initially, 10 houses were damaged. There were no injuries or
fatalities. The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Provincial Electricity Authority, district officials, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, foundations, and other agencies were involved.
2) In Lamphun Province, on March 12, 2026, a windstorm struck 2 districts, 3 subdistricts, and 9 villages, including Pa Sak Subdistrict in Mueang District, Lao Yao Subdistrict, and Ban Hong Subdistrict in Ban Hong District. Initially, 112 houses were damaged. There were no injuries or fatalities.
The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, the Provincial Electricity Authority, the district office, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, foundations, and other relevant agencies have surveyed the damage and provided initial assistance.
