Thailand, Storms and Strong Winds in Nakhon Phanom and Amnat Charoen

Windstorms
1) Nakhon Phanom Province, March 20, 2026: A windstorm occurred in 1 district, 5 sub-districts, and 11 villages, as follows: Khok Hin Hae Sub-district, Nangam Sub-district, Phon Thong Sub-district, Renu Tai Sub-district, and Renu Nakhon Sub-district, Renu Nakhon District. Initially, 70 houses were damaged.
There were no injuries or fatalities. The Nakhon Phanom Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district officials, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, foundations, and related agencies were involved. Damage assessment and initial assistance have been completed.
2) Amnat Charoen Province, March 20, 2026: A windstorm occurred in 2 districts, 2 sub-districts, and 3 villages as follows: Pa Ko Sub-district, Chanuman District;
Khok Klang Sub-district, Lue Amnat District. Initially, 21 houses were damaged. There were no injuries.
And no fatalities. The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district officials, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, and foundation volunteers,
along with related agencies, have assessed the damage and provided initial assistance.
