Strong wind occurred in Viengkhame , Vientiane Province. Five villages were reportedly affected. According to the Department of Disaster Management and Climate Change , Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment the incident has caused death and damages to the property. IMPACT - 24 families or 152 people were affected - 50 houses were totally destroyed and 10 houses were damaged - Cost of damages is about 150 million LAK (18,750 USD) RESPONSE - National and local government have responded to the situation by providing relief items and financial support to the victims.
