From August to September 2022, Lao PDR faced three (2) tropical cyclones: MULAN and MA-ON
To support the decision-making for disaster response and early recovery, the Secretariat of the Central Disaster Management Committee, Social Welfare Department formed a team to conduct damage and loss assessment in three (3) provinces: Oudomsay, Luarngprabang, and Sayaboli from 17 to 25 October 2022.

- Oudomsay
- Luangprabang
- Sayabouly
- Vientianie Municipality
- Phongsaly
- Luangnamtha
- Borkeo
- Huaphan
- Xiangkuang
- Bolikhamsay
- Savannaket
- Saravanh
A total 57 district and 703 village reportedly affected
