➢ Chronology: Due to heavy rainfall and the water channels being unable to accommodate the flowing water, causing overflows and inundating residents' houses, on Thursday 24 January 2024 at 19.30 WIB
➢ Location:
Tumpang District
• Duwet Krajan Village
• Duwet Village
• Dau District
• Landungsari Village
• Mulyoagung Village
➢ Casualties:
• ±20 families affected
➢ Material Losses:
• 14 housing units (lightly damaged)
• 4 housing units (moderately damaged)
• 2 house units (heavily damaged)
• 1 Islamic boarding school unit (lightly damaged)
• 2 stall units (lightly damaged)
➢ Effort:
• East Java Province Disaster Agent and Malang Regency BPBD carried out an assessment and coordinated with local village officials
• BPBD Malang Regency and the elements involved cleaned the roof material of the house at the scene of the incident
➢ Current Conditions:
• Currently the situation has returned to being conducive
