➢ Chronology: Triggered by a whirlwind coming suddenly from the sea with a duration of 1-2 minutes hitting residential areas until it destroyed houses and lifted part of the roof and walls of residents' houses in the Manubelon Village area, Monday, October 21, 2024 at 16.00 WITA

➢ Location:
● Amfoang Barat Daya District
- Manubelon Village

➢ Casualties: ± 10 families affected
➢ Material Losses:
● 3 houses severely damaged
● 7 houses moderately damaged

➢ Efforts:
● BPBD Kupang Regency coordinated with related institutions and partners in efforts to handle affected residents.
● The rapid assessment team immediately went to the location to conduct a field assessment, record the damage and losses caused by the disaster.
● BPBD Kab. Kupang is preparing emergency response assistance to be distributed to affected residents.
● BPBD continues to urge the public to always be aware of the weather conditions that occur, immediately carry out independent evacuation to a safe place if a similar incident occurs again.

● Conducive, but currently the team is handling it in the field.
