Description
➢ Chronology: Triggered by heavy rain accompanied by strong winds in several areas of Blitar Regency which caused several trees to fall and damaged residents' houses. occurred on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM. 13.00 WIB
➢ Location:
● Gandusari District
- Sumberagung Village
➢ Casualties:
● 101 families affected
● 1 person injured (Moderate Injury), with details as follows:
- 1 named Mrs. Kasih 78 years old, head and leg injuries taken to the Wling Regional Hospital Emergency Room (Moderate Injury)
➢ Material Losses:
● 1 house unit Severely Damaged
● 100 houses Lightly Damaged
● 1 education facility unit affected
● 1 education facility unit Moderately Damaged
● 1 education facility unit Lightly Damaged

- 1 house severely damaged
- 1 Islamic Boarding School education unit affected
- 1 SDN Sumberagung 02 [moderately damaged]

➢ Efforts:
● BPBD personnel from East Java Province and BPBD from Blitar Regency conducted an assessment and coordinated with local village officials.
● BPBD personnel from East Java Province and BPBD from Blitar Regency cut down fallen trees and cleaned up remaining materials at the scene.
● BPBD Blitar Regency has assigned personnel to conduct assessment and handling
● Provide basic food packages to affected residents
● Coordinate with related agencies to coordinate the implementation of follow-up handling activities
