Chronology: • Due to high intensity rain accompanied by unstable soil conditions on Saturday, 09 January 2021 Pkl. 16:00 WIB • There has been a subsequent landslide at Pkl. 19:00 WIB Update: Sunday, 17 January 2021, Pkl. 12.53 WIB Location: Kec. It's awkward Ds. Cihanjuang Dusun Bojong Kondang, RT 03 RW 10 Fatalities : • 29 people (MD) • 3 people (LB) • 22 People (LR) • 11 missing people • 267 families / 1,020 people were displaced Material Disadvantages: • 4 housing units buried • 5 House Units (RB) • 23 housing units were threatened • 1 Unit Mosque (RS) Effort : • TRC BPBD Kab. Sumedang conducted a quick assessment, coordinated with relevant agencies and together with the joint team carried out the evacuation • Provincial BPBD and Regency BPBD do a quick assessment of houses that must be vacated according to the recommendation from the PVMBG • BPBD Sumedang Regency has built 5 refugee tents equipped with 1 unit of public toilet truck and water tanker truck, located in Taman Burung Field, SBG Housing. • The Sumedang Regent has issued a Flood and Landslide Emergency Response Statement for 21 days starting January 9 - January 29, 2020. • The Sumedang Regent issued a Decree for the Command Post for Emergency Management of Floods and Landslides in Cimanggung District and Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency. • Traffic control to the SMAN 1 Cimanggung post to expedite the evacuation route. • The BNPB team checked the needs at the Radio Communication Post managed by RAPI (Radio Between Indonesian Residents) and found that the need for HT was still lacking. • Logistical assistance from the Indonesian Navy which was handed over directly to the Deputy Regent of Sumedang at the SMAN 1 Cimanggung Command Post. • Support for one unit of heavy equipment (soft loader) from the TNI. • Installation of landslide Early Warning System equipment by the BMKG team. • Pusdalops BPBD Kab. Sumedang conducts observation / monitoring through radio communication devices, internet and cellphones as well as visual monitoring Obstacles : • Rainy weather poses obstacles to the evacuation process, especially the roads become slippery. • The survivors were scattered and took refuge in their families' homes • Unstable soil conditions for that in the evacuation process, placing officers to monitor ground movements. • Posko has not run optimally, the evaluation meeting is only internal to the Sumedang district government and has not invited the elements involved in handling it. Latest Condition: • BPBD Sumedang District coordinates with related agencies to collect data (number of refugees, number of victims, etc.) • BPBD Kab. Sumedang together with related agencies are still searching for 11 people who have not been found Status: • Regent Decree Number 21 of 2021 concerning the establishment of Emergency Response Status for Floods & Landslides in Kec. Cimanggung & Kec. Jatinagor Kab. Sumedang • Bupati determines Flood & Landslide Emergency Response Status in Kec. Cimanggung & Kec. Jatinangor Kab.
