Description
Early Warning:
• Effective October 21, 2021, at 07.00 WIB to October 22, 2021, at 07.00 WIB, which has the potential for the impact of heavy rains for the impact of Floods / Flashes to occur in the Prov. West Kalimantan with Alert status (signature.bmkg.go.id)
Preparedness:
• BPBD Prov. West Kalimantan forwards the Early Warning information on the potential for rain to the Regency/City BPBD to be forwarded to relevant parties in the Regency/City and the community to be alert to the threat of Hydrometeorological disasters.
Effort :
1. BPBD Kab. Sintang collects data, coordinates with relevant agencies and together with a joint team to evacuate victims
2. BPBD and joint teams have established public kitchens, refugee tents and distributed logistical assistance to affected victims
3. Governor of West Kalimantan and Plh. The Sintang Regent has visited the scene
4. The Ministry of Social Affairs has reviewed the location of the incident
5. The head of BNPB and his entourage have visited the location of the incident
6. BPBD together with the Flood Task Force established public kitchens at 29 points
7. It was informed that on Thursday, November 18, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing had visited the flood site in Sintang Regency as well as handed over 5000 packages of assistance from President Jokowi to the people in the Regency. Sintang
8. From the public kitchen staff, rice is distributed to officers at several flood handling posts, namely, the yellow bamboo post, the 5th intersection post, the BI monument post and the Ulak Jaya post
9. Today the joint team carried out routine evacuations across people and their vehicles
10. The Joint Team with the business community provides free refill water (PDAM, BINMARZ, CAFE CANOPY, SINTANG CAMAT OFFICE, DISPERINDAGKOPUKM) 10,000 liters/day or 52 gallons
11. There are public kitchens in 3 sub-districts, 32 local governments, 29 self-help
