JAKARTA - At least three residents died and one person was declared missing in the flash flood disaster that occurred in Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo, as reported by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Gorontalo Province, Friday (11/9). According to the latest reports, the location of the missing victim is now known. Hair and scalp have been found, but the victim cannot yet be evacuated, considering that the weather is still heavy rain and it is not possible for the team to evacuate. The flash floods that occurred on Tuesday (7/9) as a result of the high rainfall also forced approximately 1,500 residents to flee to several locations, including the homes of relatives. As for 73 housing units were reported severely damaged (RB) and 41 other units slightly damaged (RR), which are divided into four villages, including Kaidundu Barat Village, Mopuya Village, Mamungaa Village and Mamungaa Timur Village, Bulawa District, Bone Bolango. Until now, the SAR Team together with the Rapid Reaction Team (TRC) BPBD Bone Bolango Regency are still searching for and evacuating victims. In addition, TRC BPBD Bone Bolango Regency together with Tagana Dinsos and BPBD Gorontalo Province established public kitchen posts at two points. Koramil 05 / Bonepantai together with the District Apparatus and Babinkamtibmas also established a health post and public kitchen in Mamungaa Village.
