Description
The rain intensity over the last days has caused flood in Mootinelo village, district of North Gorontalo. Due to the inundation, the normal activity was disrupted for couple of days. It was also reported that 60 houses, 1 worship building and also hectares of rice field were submerged and damaged due to the incident. As the rain was expected to happen again in the coming days, the local disaster management agency raised the alert status into Standby level. Coordination was also made with the relevant agency for preparedness and mitigation.
