Description
According to a quick report from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Cao Bang and Lao Cai provinces, heavy rain, whirlwinds, and landslides from July 10-12, 2025 caused the following damages:
- Regarding housing: 01 house collapsed (Cao Bang); 38 houses damaged and affected (Cao Bang 28, Lao Cai 10).
- About traffic:
+ Cao Bang: Landslide on Highway 215 and 07 rural traffic routes.
+ Lao Cai: Landslide on National Highway 4D, Provincial Road 142 with a volume of 50m3 of soil and rock and some rural traffic routes.
Immediately after the disaster, local authorities mobilized forces to support the evacuation of households in dangerous areas, repair damage to houses, put up warning signs, and repair traffic in landslide areas.
