Description

According to quick reports from the on-duty departments of Lang Son, Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, and Hanoi provinces and cities, heavy rain on July 2-3 caused the following damage:
- Regarding people: 01 person died due to lightning on July 2 (Ms. Ha Thi Phuong, born in 1982, address in Van Minh hamlet, Can Thuong village, Can Huu commune, Quoc Oai district, Hanoi city).
- Regarding housing: 14 houses were damaged or damaged (Lang Son: 12; Lao Cai: 01; Thai Nguyen: 01).
- Regarding agriculture: 347 hectares of rice and crops were flooded (Lang Son: 343; Lao Cai: 04).
- Regarding traffic and irrigation: 21 landslides occurred on inter-district and inter-commune roads and damage, affecting 05 irrigation works (Lang Son, Lao Cai). Currently, the basic routes have been initially cleared.

According to a quick report from the on-duty staff of Tien Giang and An Giang provinces, heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and tornadoes on July 2-3 caused the following damage:
- Regarding housing: 01 house collapsed (Tien Giang) and 90 houses had roofs blown off and damage (Tien Giang: 77; An Giang: 13).
- Regarding agriculture and other damages: loss of about 1,600 poultry (Tien Giang); 03 electric poles and 23 trees were broken (Tien Giang).

Immediately after the natural disaster, the local government organized visits to families of victims and mobilized forces to help people overcome the consequences and quickly stabilize their lives.
