Viet Nam, Storms and Strong Winds in Tuyen Quang, Hai Phong, and Quang Ngai

According to preliminary reports from the provinces and cities of Tuyen Quang, Hai Phong, and Quang Ngai, heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms on June 15-16 caused the following damage:
- Regarding casualties: 2 people died due to lightning strikes ( including: Mr. Nguyen Van Nghiep, born in 1989, residing in Minh Khai village, Bac Quang commune, Tuyen Quang province; Mr. Tran Quang Trung, 54 years old, residing in Duong Kinh ward, Hai Phong city).
- Regarding housing: 70 houses had their roofs blown off or were damaged (Quang Ngai).
- Regarding agriculture: 23.5 hectares of rice, vegetables, and crops were damaged; 80 poultry died (Tuyen Quang).
Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, local authorities organized visits and provided assistance to affected families, while mobilizing forces to help people overcome the consequences and quickly stabilize their lives
