Tropical Cyclone WUTIP - Viet Nam local name Storm No. 1
According to reports from the provinces and cities of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, storm No. 1 and floods have caused some initial damage as of 06:00 on June 13, 2025 as follows:
- About people: None.
- Regarding housing: 805 houses flooded (Da Nang 80 houses, Quang Nam 725 houses).
- Regarding ships: 06 ships sunk and damaged (Quang Binh: 02 ships operating at sea, Da Nang: 04 ships anchored at the port).
- Regarding agriculture: 58,177 hectares of rice and crops were flooded (Quang Binh 7,474 hectares, Quang Tri 15,299 hectares, Hue 17,069 hectares, Quang Nam 16,741 hectares, Da Nang 1,593 hectares), 115 hectares of aquaculture (Quang Tri: 33 hectares, Da Nang: 33 hectares, Quang Nam: 49 hectares).
- About traffic:
+ Quang Binh: Flooding of 2 overflow tunnels on National Highway 9B, Le Thuy district and Ca Roang 2 tunnel, Bo Trach district, disrupting traffic.
+ Quang Tri: Flooding of 04 spillways on National Highway 15D and routes DT.586, DT.587, DT.588a caused traffic jams; flooding of some rural roads in Hai Lang and Huong Hoa districts.
+ Hue: Slope landslide at Road 14C, La Son - Tuy Loan Road, Phu Loc District and Ho Chi Minh Road (Km350), A Luoi District.
+ Quang Nam: Flooded in some locations on provincial roads 603B, 608, 609, 610B, 611, 615B, 01 pontoon bridge was washed away.
+ Da Nang: Flooding on some inner-city roads, now receding and small landslides, rocks and soil overflowing on some traffic routes.
- Affected 20 flights.

According to reports from the provinces and cities of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, storm No. 1 and floods have caused some initial damage as of 06:00 on June 14, 2025 as follows:
- Regarding people: 02 people died in Quang Tri (Mr. Ho Viet Kinh, born in 1954, residing in Duong Van Loc village, Trieu Thuan commune, Trieu Phong district was electrocuted while fighting the storm and Ho Nguyen Thanh Phat, born in 2018, residing in Thuong Nguyen village, Hai Lam commune, Hai Lang district died of drowning); 04 people were missing due to being swept away by flood in Quang Binh (02 women went to catch frogs; 02 husband and wife went fishing); 01 person was injured in Quang Tri.
- Regarding housing: 05 houses collapsed (Quang Nam); 38 houses were damaged, roofs blown off (Ha Tinh 27, Quang Tri 01, Hue 09, Quang Nam 01); 4,074 houses were flooded (Quang Tri 3,269 houses, Da Nang 80 houses, Quang Nam 725 houses). Currently, the water is receding, the flooded area is decreasing; of which, 80 houses in Da Nang, 725 houses in Quang Nam are no longer flooded.
- Regarding ships: 08 ships sunk and damaged (Quang Binh: 02 ships operating at sea, 01 ship anchored at the port; Da Nang: 05 ships anchored at the port).
- Regarding agriculture and aquaculture: 90,511 hectares of rice and crops were flooded (Ha Tinh 630 hectares, Quang Binh 21,254 hectares, Quang Tri 24,908 hectares, Hue 25,247 hectares, Quang Nam 16,741 hectares, Da Nang 1,731 hectares). By the morning of June 14, the provinces and cities of Quang Nam and Da Nang had stopped being flooded. In other areas, the water was receding and the flood level had decreased; 2,380 hectares of aquaculture were damaged due to flooding and washing away (Quang Binh 1,553 hectares, Quang Tri 745 hectares, Da Nang 33 hectares, Quang Nam 49 hectares).
- About traffic:
+ Quang Binh: 34 traffic routes were flooded and cut off (National Highways 9B, 15, 12A; Provincial Roads 564, 565D, 562, 558B, 559B and rural traffic routes); 14 landslides (National Highways 9E, 12A, 9B, 9C; Provincial Roads 561, 558C, 562). By 07:00 on June 14, 2025, the flood water had basically receded, traffic was normal; there are currently 02 flooded points (Ca Roong spillway connecting Ca Roong 2 village to Ban Ca Roong is still flooded about 1m deep; Water at the Sung tree tunnel (Km 17 Provincial Road 562) recedes slowly, traffic is not yet impassable).
+ Quang Tri: Flooding in some locations on National Highways 15D, 49C, 1, 9; Provincial Roads 571, 576C, 578b, 582, 584, 586, 587, 588a and some rural roads. Currently, the water on National Highways 15D, 9, DT.571, DT.576C, DT.578b, DT.584, DT.586, DT.587 and urban roads has receded, traffic has returned to normal; National Highways 49C are still flooded in some sections causing traffic congestion, DT.588a section of Ba Long Spillway Bridge - Km11+240, is still flooded 50cm.
+ Hue: Flooding in some locations on provincial roads 4, 4B, 5, 6, 10, 12D, 12B, 15B, 17B, 19, 25B, 49B and rural roads in Phong Dien and Quang Dien districts; Landslides on the slopes of road 14C, La Son - Tuy Loan road, Phu Loc district and National Highway 49 (km 67+200), Ho Chi Minh road (km 350+185), A Luoi district. Currently, the landslides have been fixed and traffic is smooth.
+ Da Nang: 38 locations on traffic routes suffered landslides and minor damage, traffic is now clear.

According to reports from Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam provinces, storm No. 1 and floods have caused the following damage (as of 06:00 on June 15, 2025):
- Regarding people: 07 people died and missing: 06 people died (Quang Binh 03, Quang Tri 03); 01 person missing due to being swept away by flood (Quang Binh 01).
- Regarding housing: 47 houses collapsed, roofs blown off (Ha Tinh 27, Quang Tri 05, Hue 09, Quang Nam 06).
- Regarding agriculture: 58,701 hectares of rice and crops are still flooded (Nghe An 476 hectares, Ha Tinh 630 hectares, Quang Binh 21,254 hectares, Quang Tri 25,110 hectares, Hue 11,231 hectares).
- Regarding aquaculture: 2,260 hectares of aquaculture were damaged due to flooding and washing away (Quang Binh 1,553 hectares, Quang Tri 624 hectares, Da Nang 33 hectares, Quang Nam 49 hectares); 178 cages were damaged (Quang Binh 121, Quang Tri 57).
- Regarding ships: 08 ships sunk and damaged (Quang Binh 03, Da Nang 05).

According to reports from the provinces/cities of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, storm No. 1 and floods have caused the following damage (as of 06:00 on June 16, 2025):
- About people: 07 people died (Quang Binh 04, Quang Tri 03).
- Regarding housing: 05 houses collapsed (Quang Nam); 94 houses were damaged, roofs blown off (Ha Tinh 27, Hue 61, Quang Nam 01, Quang Tri 05).
- Regarding agriculture: 59,988 hectares of rice and crops are still flooded (Nghe An 426 hectares, Quang Binh 13,436 hectares, Quang Tri 25,372 hectares, Hue 18,853 hectares, Da Nang 1,901 hectares).
- Regarding aquaculture: 2,341 hectares of aquaculture were damaged due to flooding and washing away (Quang Binh 1,636 hectares, Quang Tri 623 hectares, Da Nang 33 hectares, Quang Nam 49 hectares); 324 cages were damaged (Quang Binh 265, Quang Tri 59).
- Regarding ships: 08 ships sunk and damaged (Quang Binh 03, Da Nang 05).
