1. According to information received by phone from the Lam Dong Provincial Irrigation Department, at approximately 1:30 PM on May 24, 2026, Phan Thi Thao Nguyen, born in 2014, was swept away by water in Phuoc Thanh stream, Dang Gia Det residential area, Lang Biang ward. Local authorities are mobilizing forces to organize a search.
2. According to Report No. 31/BC-VPPCTT dated May 24, 2026, from the Office of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Ca Mau province, the storm that occurred on May 24, 2026, in the province damaged 96 houses, with roofs blown off; several trees and power poles were also knocked down. Following the disaster, local authorities mobilized forces to assist people in overcoming the damage.

According to a preliminary report from the Ca Mau Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control, in the early morning of May 22, 2026, a riverbank landslide occurred in Trai Luoi B hamlet, Dat Moi commune. The landslide extended approximately 40 meters in length and 20 meters inland, damaging two houses and some property inside. Initial estimated damages are around 800 million VND.
Local authorities have now visited the area to assess the situation, offer support and encouragement, and mobilize forces to assist residents in overcoming the consequences and relocating to safe places.

- Tuyen Quang Province: From the evening of May 21st to the morning of May 22nd, heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and landslides affected 11 houses; flooded and damaged 23.36 hectares of rice and crops; damaged 1.5 hectares of fish ponds; and caused landslides on 15 sections of roads with a total length of approximately 545 meters and 6,000 cubic meters of soil and rocks; the estimated total damage is 2.45 billion VND.
- An Giang Province: On May 21st, a lightning strike killed one person (Duong Van Nghia, born in 2010, residing in Lung Kha Na hamlet, Kien Luong commune) and injured one person.
- Ca Mau Province: On May 21st, three incidents of landslides and subsidence occurred along the canal banks in Tran Van Thoi commune, with a total length of 97 meters, affecting the movement of local residents.
Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, local authorities mobilized forces and resources to assist people in overcoming the damage and stabilizing their lives.
