According to quick information from localities, storm No. 13 (KALMAEGI) caused initial damage as follows:
- About people:
+ 05 people died (Dak Lak: 03 people, Gia Lai: 02 people); 07 people injured (Quang Ngai: 03 people, Gia Lai: 02 people, Dak Lak: 02 people).
+ 03 people drifting at sea (around 3:00 p.m. on June 11, 02 people went on a basket boat to rescue a suicidal person at Ly Son wharf, currently all 03 people are drifting at sea).
- Go home:
+ 57 houses collapsed (Gia Lai: 45 houses, Dak Lak: 12 houses).
+ 2,799 houses had their roofs blown off or were damaged (Gia Lai: 2,412 houses, Dak Lak: 326 houses, Quang Ngai: 61 houses).
- About boats and rafts:
+ 11 ships and boats sank (Dak Lak: 06 ships, Quang Ngai: 01 ship, Gia Lai: 04 ships).
+ 54,000 cages were damaged (Dak Lak).
- Regarding electricity: There were 28 110kV grid incidents; 1,603,637 customers lost power; 315,016 customers have been restored; currently 1,288,621 customers still have lost power (Hue: 76 customers, Da Nang 80,900 customers; Quang Ngai 202,156 customers; Gia Lai 678,995 customers; Dak Lak 324,928 customers; Khanh Hoa 1,566 customers).
- About traffic:
+ Dak Po To Bridge Km378+130 Truong Son Dong Road, Gia Lai Province had its head washed away by floodwater, about 25m long and about 8m deep.
+ HCM Road: Scattered landslides, no traffic jams.
