According to quick reports from the provinces and cities of Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Lam Dong, floods have caused damage and inundation. The updated data is as follows:
- Regarding people: 55 people died or went missing (an increase of 09 people compared to the quick report on November 3: Ha Tinh 01; Quang Tri 02; Quang Ngai 06), of which 47 people died (Ha Tinh 01, Quang Tri 08, Hue 15, Da Nang 15, Quang Ngai 04, Lam Dong 04); 08 people went missing (Quang Tri 03, Da Nang 03, Quang Ngai 02); 130 people were injured (Quang Tri 05, Hue 01, Da Nang 117, Quang Ngai 07).
- Go home:
+ 108 houses collapsed and were swept away (Hue 03, Da Nang 78, Quang Ngai 27); 694 houses were damaged (Ha Tinh 01, Hue 31, Da Nang 546, Quang Ngai 97, Lam Dong 19).
+ Currently, 44,258 houses are still flooded (Ha Tinh 588, Quang Tri 12,017, Hue 15,615, Da Nang 16,038).
- Regarding agriculture: 11,323 hectares of rice and crops were flooded and damaged (Quang Tri 522 hectares, Hue 600 hectares, Da Nang 1,453 hectares, Quang Ngai 444 hectares; Lam Dong 8,304 hectares); 2,850 hectares of fruit trees (Hue 255, Da Nang 58, Quang Ngai 05, Lam Dong 2,532).
- Regarding livestock: 152,186 livestock and poultry died or were swept away (Quang Tri 1,453, Hue 8,955, Da Nang 130,778, Quang Ngai 5,689, Lam Dong 5,311).
- Regarding traffic: There are currently 33 locations on national highways that are congested, including 25 locations on National Highways managed by the Ministry of Construction (11 locations on the West branch of Ho Chi Minh Road; 03 locations on National Highway 1, 09 locations on the Eastern Truong Son Road, 02 locations on the La Son - Hoa Lien route); 08 locations managed by localities including: 9C (01 location); 49C (03 locations); 49 (02 locations); 14E (01 location); 14H (01 location); 1,212,649 m3 of soil and rock have collapsed.
- Regarding irrigation: 67.7km of canals were eroded and damaged.
- Regarding riverbank and coastal erosion: 37km of riverbank and coastal erosion.
- Regarding electricity: Currently, there are 95,386 customers without power (Quang Tri 7,947 customers, Hue 25,723 customers, Da Nang 61,605 customers, Quang Ngai 111 customers).

- Regarding people: 04 people died (Hue 01, Da Nang 02, Lam Dong 01); 05 people missing (Quang Tri 01, Hue 01, Da Nang 03); 11 people injured (Da Nang).
- About flooding:
+ In Quang Tri: 04 communes were flooded from 0.2 - 1.0m deep
+ In Hue city: 32 communes/wards were deeply flooded, with a depth of 1 - 2m.
+ In Da Nang city: 39 communes and wards were deeply flooded and isolated (10 communes were isolated, 29 communes were deeply flooded)
- At home: 13 houses collapsed and were swept away (Da Nang); 60 houses were damaged (Da Nang 44, Quang Ngai 15, Lam Dong 01); 103,525 houses were flooded (Quang Tri 663, Hue 35,000, Da Nang 66,813, Lam Dong 1,049).
- Regarding agriculture: 2,234 hectares of rice and crops were flooded and damaged (Da Nang 273 hectares, Quang Ngai 32 hectares; Lam Dong 1,930 hectares); 549 hectares of fruit trees were damaged (Lam Dong);

- About traffic:
+ 11 national highways (9B, 14E, 14H, 15D, 28B, 49, 49B, 49C, Ho Chi Minh road section La Son - Hoa Lien, Ho Chi Minh road West branch, Truong Son Dong road) were blocked due to flooding and landslides.
+ Quang Tri Province: Many locations on National Highways 15D, 49C, 9B; DT565C, DT582, DT582b, DT584, DT588, DT587 were flooded, causing traffic jams.
+ Hue City: Due to prolonged heavy rain in recent days, 38 landslides have occurred in the city, some of which are severe such as: Khe Tre Commune, 17 points at Ka Tu Pass; TL14B route, inter-commune and village traffic routes and along stream banks in the commune; Binh Dien Commune, 02 points on National Highway 49; 06 landslides along Ho Chi Minh Road; Km23+800 of National Highway 49 from Cham to Tuan Bridge has negative slope landslide.
+ Da Nang City: 1,880m of road damaged; landslides on slopes, 62,845 m3 of rock and soil on national highways (14B, 14D, 24C, 40B, 14H, 14G), provincial roads (601, 606, 612, 614, 615) and rural roads.
+ Quang Ngai Province: More than 120 landslide locations, soil and rocks overflowed onto the road surface, blocking drainage ditches along national highways, provincial roads and roads (National Highways 14C, 24B, 24C, 40B; Provincial Roads DT.622B, DT.622C, DT.623, DT.623B, DT.624, DT.626, DT.627C, DT.628, DT.673, DT.676; Ngoc Hoang - Mang But - Tu Mo Rong - Ngoc Linh Road) with an estimated volume of about 11,950 m3 and 42 commune roads were eroded and damaged (Xop, Tay Tra, Thanh Bong, Son Ha, Tay Tra Bong, Dak Plo, Dak Ui, Minh Long, Ngoc Linh, Son Linh, Ba Dinh, Son Tay Thuong, Ca Dam, Tra Bong).
+ Railway: Blockade the Van Xa - Hue section; temporarily suspend passenger trains SE1/2, SE3/4, SE7/8 departing from Hanoi and Saigon; train SE19/20 departing from Hanoi and Da Nang; trains HD1,2,3,4 departing from Hue and Da Nang.
- Regarding landslides: At around 0:00 on October 28, on the inter-village road from the center of Lang Moi village to Ngoc Nang village, Ngoc Linh commune, a large hill collapsed, cutting across the concrete road about 100m long, 10m deep, sweeping away a large amount of mud and soil, extending over a large area, burying many crops, barns, fish ponds, and rice fields of people downstream, the stream water continued to flow strongly; currently, people in 5 villages: Ngoc Nang, Ngoc Lang, Mo Po, Xa Ua, and Tu Rang are isolated.
Localities have put up warning signs, prohibiting vehicles from passing through deeply flooded areas; continue to review and compile damage data and organize initial remediation.
According to the quick report No. 5686/BC-SNN-CCTL dated October 28, 2025 of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Thap province, on October 27, 2025, a landslide occurred on the riverbank in Tan Quoi hamlet, Tan Long commune, 50m long, 30m deep inland, causing no human casualties, completely damaging 05 houses, with a high risk of directly affecting 11 households. The total estimated damage is about 510 million VND.
As soon as signs of landslides were detected, local authorities mobilized forces to help evacuate people and property in dangerous landslide areas to safety./
