The low-pressure area due to the heat affected upper Thailand. Upper Thailand is hot with haze during the day and very hot in some areas while the south and southeasterly wind is blowing over the lower North, lower Northeastern, Central, and the Eastern Region causing thunderstorms in some areas, strong winds and hail in some areas from 13-16 Mar. A total of 8 provinces have been affected: Tak, Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Chiang Rai, Loei, Phayao, Nan, Udon Thani.
