Description

Between 4–6 May 2026, storm incidents were reported in 2 provinces (Tak and Phitsanulok), affecting 4 districts, 10 sub-districts, and 21 villages. A total of 48 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported, as follows:

Tak Province
On 5 May 2026, storms affected 3 districts, 8 sub-districts, and 19 villages, including Mae Sot, Mae Ku, and Mae Pa sub-districts in Mae Sot District; Ruam Thai Phatthana, Chong Khaep, Phop Phra, and Khiri Rat sub-districts in Phop Phra District; and Mae Usu sub-district in Tha Song Yang District. Initial reports indicated that 32 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. The Tak Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police officers, local administrative organisations, volunteers, and related agencies provided initial assistance.
Phitsanulok Province
On 4 May 2026, storms affected Wat Bot District, particularly Ban Yang sub-district. Initial reports indicated that 16 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. Relevant authorities and volunteer groups provided initial assistance
