Thailand, Storms and Winds in Si Thep (Phetchabun)

Phetchabun Province, April 2, 2026, 5:00 PM: A windstorm struck 1 district, 2 sub-districts, and 5 villages, namely Si Thep Sub-district (Villages 1, 4, 8, 14) and Na Sanun Sub-district
(Village 12) in Si Thep District. Initially, 25 houses were damaged, but there were no injuries.
And three disaster relief vehicles, along with personnel from the Narathiwat Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, military units in the area, district officials, local administrative
organizations, volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, foundations, and other relevant agencies, participated in suppressing the forest fire and creating firebreaks to prevent further spread.
There were no fatalities. The Phetchabun Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, the Provincial Electricity Authority, the district office, police officers, local administrative organizations,
volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, and foundations, along with other relevant agencies, have surveyed the damage and provided initial assistance
