During 1–2 May 2026, incidents were reported in 4 provinces (Phayao, Sukhothai, Ubon Ratchathani, and Saraburi), affecting 5 districts, 13 sub-districts, and 33 villages, with 183 houses damaged. Details are as follows:
1) Phayao Province
On 1 May 2026, storms affected 1 district, 1 sub-district, and 2 villages: Chiang Raeng Sub-district, Phu Sang District.
A total of 70 houses were damaged.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
The Phayao Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and relevant agencies have provided initial assistance.
2) Sukhothai Province
On 1 May 2026, storms affected 2 districts, 9 sub-districts, and 29 villages: Thai Chana Suek, Khao Kaeo Si Sombun, Ban Mai, and Thung Saliam Sub-districts (Thung Saliam District); Mae Sam, Mae Sin, Ban Kaeng, Sarachit, and Pa Ngio Sub-districts (Si Satchanalai District).
A total of 101 houses were damaged.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
The Sukhothai Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and relevant agencies have provided initial assistance.
3) Ubon Ratchathani Province
On 1 May 2026, storms affected 1 district, 2 sub-districts, and 2 villages: Kaeng Dom and Sawang Sub-districts (Sawang Wirawong District).
A total of 9 houses were damaged, along with 1 farm structure/livestock shelter.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
The Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and relevant agencies have provided initial assistance.
4) Saraburi Province
On 1 May 2026, storms affected 1 district, 1 sub-district, and 1 village: Than Kasem Sub-district (Phra Phutthabat District).
A total of 3 houses were damaged.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
