Description

Chiang Mai Province
On 7 May 2026, a storm incident occurred in 1 district, 1 sub-district, and 1 village, namely Samoeng Nuea Sub-district, Samoeng District.
A total of 40 houses were damaged. No injuries or fatalities were reported. The Chiang Mai Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, foundation teams, and relevant agencies have already provided initial assistance.
Lamphun Province
On 7 May 2026, a storm incident occurred in 3 districts, 4 sub-districts, and 11 villages, namely Ban Hong Sub-district in Ban Hong District; Mueang Chi Sub-district in Mueang District; and Makok and Muang Noi Sub-districts in Pa Sang District.
A total of 295 houses were damaged. No injuries or fatalities were reported. The Lamphun Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, foundation teams, and relevant agencies have already provided initial assistance.
Chaiyaphum Province
On 8 May 2026, a storm and heavy rainfall caused the collapse of construction scaffolding at the Kiatphumchai Building (300-bed intensive care and inpatient building) at Chaiyaphum Hospital in Nai Mueang Sub-district, Mueang District.
Damage assessments were ongoing. No injuries or fatalities were reported. The Chaiyaphum Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, foundation teams, and relevant agencies have already provided initial assistance.
Sing Buri Province
On 7 May 2026, a storm incident occurred in 5 districts, 17 sub-districts, and 63 villages, namely Mueang District, Bang Rachan District, Tha Chang District, Khai Bang Rachan District, and Phrom Buri District.
A total of 508 houses were damaged. No injuries or fatalities were reported. The Sing Buri Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, foundation teams, and relevant agencies have already provided initial assistance.
