Chiang Rai Province, May 5, 2026: A windstorm struck Moo 15, Tambon Sathan , Chiang Khong District, initially damaging houses.
Forty houses were damaged, but there were no injuries or fatalities. (Reported by the Chiang Rai Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office)
Police officers, district officials, local administrative organizations, volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, foundation volunteers, and other relevant agencies provided assistance.
