Description

Chiang Rai Province: On July 30, 2026, continuous heavy rainfall caused flash floods in 1 district, 2 subdistricts, and 3 villages. 1) Chiang Rai Province, on July 30, 2026, heavy rainfall caused flash floods in 1 district, 6 sub-districts, and 6 villages.
These included the sub-districts of Bua Sali, Chom Mok Kaeo in Mae Lao District, and Ban Mae Tak, Moo 5. The embankment of the irrigation canal was damaged in 2 places.
44 households were affected. There were no injuries or fatalities. The Chiang Rai Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district officials, police officers, local administrative organizations,
volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, foundation volunteers, and related agencies provided assistance and expedited water drainage from the area.
The situation has now eased.
