Description

Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) of Thailand reported flooding in Pattaya city, Chonburi Province on 31 March 2018. The flooding was caused by heavy rainfall continued for more than an hour in the east coast. On average the flood depth was around 30-60 cm, especially in the area of ​​Sukhumvit Road, South Pattaya and Pattaya 3rd Road until motorcycles and small cars can not travel through. Traffic is paralyzed heavily. As the drainage pipe overflows over the surface of the traffic. The situation caused disruption to life of local people as well as tourists.
