Description

Heavy raining still continue in central and northern part of Thailand. The situation has created Chao Phraya river and Pasak river to overflow. Consequently, flood affecting several district in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Phetchabun, Nakhon Sawan, Phitchit and Loei province. Added later by Dept. Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) are Phitsanulok, Angthong, Kalasin, Surin, Si Sa Ket, Ubon Ratchatthani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chonburi and Chiang Rai. Sena district in Ayutthaya was reported as the most affected area with more than 1,000 homes inundated. IMPACT - 61 death - over 800,000 families were affected, including 2,876 families in Phetchabun. - 817,290 were inundated in 25 provinces - more than 1,000 houses were damaged. - over 600,000 rai of damaged agriculture and aquaculture. RESPONSE - DDPM monitored the situation and conducted important actions to help the victim. - His Majesty the King has delivered relief packages to 2,000 affected families in Phetchabun through Rajaprjanugroh Foundation.
