Description

The high rainfall intensity that brought heavy rainfall several days has consequently caused flashflood in the northern provinces. The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation stated that seven provinces and 61 villages were affected by flood. As of now, 853 houses were reportedly affected in the 14 districs in Kamphaeng Phet, Uttaradit, Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Lampang, Loei and Udon Thani. Kamphaeng Phet was the most affected province with 800 damaged houses. About 800 people in Kamphaeng Pet were evacuated. Meanwhile, 2,000 families in Uttaradit were urged to evacuate toward the inundation.
