Description

As of 13 January 2018, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported a total of 60950 persons (13685 families) in 24 municipalities of Camarines Sur (Region V) were affected due to flooding. Flooding were also reported in provinces of Catanduanes , Negros Occidental (with one case of landslide) and Capiz; despite not affecting any inhabitants. The flood was resulted from Tail-end of a Cold Front (TECF), which brought heavy rainfall. A total of 31 persons were reported missing, from provinces of Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte and Catanduanes. In terms of public facilities, all schools in Camarines Sur were also suspended due to the event. Some regional roads were also partially affected in provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur and Catanduanes.
